There is a local jewellery workshop/silversmith (Silververket 925-N11) near where I live. You can buy all kinds of fixings to make your own jewellery, and they run workshops on how to design and create your own jewellery. They also have courses in pearl stringing, working with silver clay, making Sami bracelets (see photo below), creating leather jewellery, and more. Silververket staff are always incredibly helpful with advice, and spend ages helping people to choose what they need.
I like popping in, because the silversmiths that run the shop sell their own silver and gold-plated silver jewellery, made in-house. They sell delicate, minimal chains, plain rings, rings with small stones, bangles, and delicate dangly earrings. The lines are clean and most things cost about $30.
One thing I always love is the tiny jeweller’s bench they have in their display shelf. The detail is beautiful!
