I like antique and antique-like rings. One of my favourites is this really old gold-plated brass band. The underneath is quite worn, as tends to happen, but the top looks pretty good.
I also have this dainty little forget-me-not ring in gold-plated stainless steel.

On my list at the moment is a floral band ring. I don’t want a pricey one, just something dainty to wear on my wedding finger in the summer heat.
The problem buying rings online is that you cannot try them on. My ring fingers are in-between sizes and I have large knuckles. Wider rings fit tighter than narrower ones and sometimes sizing can be a little big or small. You also never know if you are buying something being drop-shipped from China or sourced from Temu. I have found many shops across Etsy selling exactly the same item and using exactly the same photographs, but describing it as ‘unique and handmade’. Etsy has been ruined by junk resellers.
While Googling around, I found a site that looks really interesting. I would be so keen to know if any of my readers have bought from Regal Rose. They seem to be based in the UK and have good (genuine-looking) reviews. The prices are good and their items are really interesting. Here is a selection that I liked
This ring depicts intertwined roots. I love that metaphor in a ring for a special finger. I have a friend who is 70 now, but has been with his partner since he was 18. He told me once they had grown together like vines.

I adore this one! I wish it said Till death and beyond, but I have always wanted a pinkie ring and this fits the bill perfectly!
